Balancing Procedures

One of the strengths of energy methods is that most if not all embrace calming and balancing procedures as an integral part of their techniques. Below are some of the popular methods used to bring a sense of calm and comfort to the subject.

Emotional Stress Release

The position taken for Emotional Stress Release is to place the fingers or the palm of one hand over the frontal eminence on the forehead. The other hand can be placed on the back of the head for additional comfort.
While holding the position, the subject can simply relax and let his/her mind float.
For addressing specific stress, the subject can focus of the distressing event. A subjective measurement of the distress can be assessed (scaled zero to ten with zero being no stress and ten being severe stress). In a minute or two, the distress may begin to dissipate and the position can be terminated.
As an alternative, the subject can attune to the distressing issue and a partner can place his/her hands on the frontal eminences until release is reported by the subject.
For intransigent stresses, the subject can play the disturbing event through in the mind, as though viewing a video tape. The tape can be played fast or slow, forward or backward until the disturbance is dissipated.

Floor-to-Ceiling Eye Roll

Self-hypnosis eye roll procedure.
While breathing in, slowly roll eyes upward from the floor to ceiling.
While breathing out, roll eyelids down over eyes, and then relax the eyes as they come to neutral.

Elaborated Eye Roll

Gamut and self-hypnosis eye roll procedure
Slowly roll eyes upward from the floor to ceiling while steadily tapping TE-3 (TH-3, "Back of Hand, "Gamut Spot").
While breathing out, roll eyelids down over eyes, and then relax the eyes as they come to neutral.
